Stiegler, offers membership classes throughout the year and welcomes you to inquire about them.

In August, 2009, Pastor Gary accepted a call to serve as the pastor of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Vineland.

Pastor "Gary" was born in Baltimore, Maryland as the third son of Missouri Synod Parents. The family founded Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Lochearn, Maryland where Pastor Gary received his early faith formation. He attended Pilgrim Lutheran Day School for the first six years of his education and headed off to college at Susquehanna University in the fall of 1963. He played Lacrosse, soccer and basketball in his younger years.

Earning a degree in Psychology with a minor in Geology, he accepted a sales position with Republic Steel Corporation. After marrying college "friend" Janet Purvis, the growing family moved to Duxbury, Massachusetts after a year in training in Youngstown, Ohio. Pastor Gary traveled five states for Republic.

The family returned to Pennsauken, NJ in 1970, where Pastor Gary took a sales position with Lynch Industries. In 1976, Pastor started his own business in Sales and Marketing communications serving several major Fortune 500 clients including Campbell Soup and Scott Paper Company. In 1984, his growing company purchased a Sony franchise and moved into the video production and editing business. Pastor Gary served as a member of the Cherry Hill Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, as well as the zoning and planning boards in Cherry Hill and Tabernacle, NJ.

After moving to Tabernacle, NJ in 1988, the family helped to start and build Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Tabernacle. He served as President of council and chaired the fundraising effort to raise the funds for their first building.

Pastor Gary served as a registered representative for Lutheran Brotherhood Insurance and Investments for two years before attending the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He received his Master of Divinity Degree in December, 2001. Pastor Gary served his first call to ordained ministry at Immanuel Lutheran in Lakewood, from June 2002 until July 2009.

He is certified as a Mission Developer by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and helped "plant" a new church, GOD WITH US, on 9 acres recently purchased in Jackson. He also served as President of the Lakewood Clergy Association, President of the Ocean County Chapter of Thrivent Financial For Lutherans, was a Member of the Critical Incident Stress Foundation, Chaplain for the Lakewood Police and Fire Depts. and Cluster Counselor for the 10 ELCA churches in Ocean County. In addition he served on the Ocean County Health and Human Services Advisory Council, was a member of the Northern Ocean County Habitat For Humanity Board of Directors and on the Board of Directors of Ocean Health Initiatives. Gary served on various Township committees including Homelessness, Community Development Block Grant and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).

Pastor Gary joined with sixteen other mainline clergy in December of 2006 for a tour of The Holy Lands sponsored by the United Jewish Communities and The Jewish Council For Public Affairs.

In February, 2010, he joined members of Redeemer on a Thrivent Insurance Mission Trip to Mississippi to assist with the building of a home for Habitat for Humanity. Pastor Gary is a member of the Vineland Chamber of Commerce and the Vineland Ministerium. 

The Stieglers have three grown children and nine grandchildren living in Salisbury, Maryland and Marlton, NJ.

Misty Fiske, Organist/Choir Director

Misty has been involved with church music serving as first a pianist and later an organist since 1993. Since 1996 she has served as a choir director and accompanist as well, also accompanying a school choir part time. Misty has been a member of several local choirs, including the Cumberland County College chorus and the Trojan Alumni Chorus. After several years of being the assistant organist she took a full time organist position in 2007, and joined Redeemer Luther an Church as the organist/choir director in 2008. Misty is currently pursuing a degree in music education specializing in organ and voice at Rowan University.
